What was once a 1940s movie theater that turned into offices for a real estate developer now has the proud distinction of being the first LEED Gold Commercial – New Construction v3 category project certified by the U.S. Green Building Council in the City of Annapolis. The theater closed in the 1970s, converted to office space and a second floor was also added to the interior of the building. In 2003 a developer purchased the building and reached out to Studio 343. Since that time, we have completed multiple renovations to the building which have transformed this old-time movie theater to an environmentally conscious building with great architectural details. It is refreshing to see this Annapolis landmark as a focal point in the cityscape.
