Homes at Berlin Design

As a recent recipient of the MD DHCD 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program, Homes at Berlin will be afforded the opportunity to complete renovations as well as the construct a new three-story building consisting of 12 new apartments. The project is located on two sites and has 42 existing apartments. A three story, twelve unit garden style apartment building will be added to the Flower Street site. Other amenities on Flower Street include extensive interior renovations with new finishes, mechanical system, lighting, bathroom and redesign of the existing kitchens. There will also be interior and exterior renovations to the community building including an enlarged community room, business center and patio with pergola. The Bay Street location will undergo interior renovations to the existing residences including new interior finishes, mechanical systems, lighting and bathroom updates. Exterior building improvements for Bay Street include new front porches and protected entrances at the front of all townhomes as well as a new picnic pavilion.

When construction is complete in 2021, Homes at Berlin will be an enlarged two-site residential community with ample amenities for the residents to enjoy.
