Gateway Village

Construction is underway at Homes at Gateway Village, located in Salisbury Maryland. This senior living community offers 156 apartments in a mix of one- and two-bedroom units. The units, described as senior townhome apartments, are positioned throughout the site with additional units at the 3-story focal building. Once renovations are completed, there will be 8 UFAS and ANSI compliant units, and an additional 2 units that are equipped with hearing and visual impairment devices. Unit renovations include new kitchen appliances and cabinetry, new bathroom fixtures, new flooring, and a recladding of all buildings.

The main 3- story building not only houses apartments but includes amenity spaces as well. The Community Room was expanded to include more spaces for residents with a kitchenette and a porch overlooking the small pond at the rear of the building. To complete this expansion, a unit had to be removed from the building, and added to a nearby townhome building. With the newly expanded Community Room, residents have plenty of room to sit, relax and enjoy the day. Office staff also received new offices with their own personal kitchenette.

There were also updates completed throughout the site. Residents will now have a fenced in dog park, new fenced dumpster enclosures, covered mailboxes, a small pavilion to rest under, and a newly renovated laundry building- all connected by an accessible pathway.
