Homes at Berlin Construction

Construction is underway at the Flower Street location for the Homes at Berlin located in Berlin, Maryland.  To date, 16 units have been renovated and the residents have already returned to their homes.  Dramatic interior renovations include opening up the small, enclosed kitchen to create an open concept plan for the kitchen, dining and living areas; as well as new flooring, windows, and other finishes.  Updates to the mechanical equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems will bring energy efficiencies and cost savings for the community.  In addition to renovations to the existing units, new construction has begun on the 3-story wood framed building that will provide an additional 12 units of affordable housing ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms.  If all goes according to schedule, new construction will be completed January 2022.
