Hope Lodge Baltimore

While the American Cancer Society is most notably known for their research efforts, it is only one facet of their programming to free the world from cancer. Hope Lodge is another program for the American Cancer Society. Hope Lodge was developed to provide cancer patients and caregivers a place to stay while receiving treatment in another location. Because the need is so great for the services they provide, we were contacted by the American Cancer Society to work through design efforts for their Baltimore Lodge as sadly, they are outgrowing their current location. Our design focuses on creating a comfortable, homelike setting for patients and caregivers to stay during out-of-town treatments. Warm earth tones envelop the community spaces, while guest rooms provide a comfortable and soothing setting for respite during their stay. The services are offered to those receiving treatment at no cost so they can focus on getting better. Currently, there are more than 30 Lodges throughout the United States.  We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible program and look forward to further development when fundraising efforts allow.
