Myrtle Landing Begins Construction

Myrtle Landing Apartments located in Cape Charles, VA, has begun construction. This senior affordable housing community was recently awarded Virginia Housing 4% bond tax credit funding. The site consists of (11) 1- story townhome style apartment buildings and a community building. The scope of this project includes the construction of 5 fully accessible units and 2 hearing and visually impaired units. During renovation, these units will receive new finishes, flooring, appliances, and fixtures.  The exterior of the buildings and site will include modifications like new vinyl siding, windows, dumpster enclosures, a new and fully accessible path, and site lighting. The community building will receive new finishes throughout with the addition of a kitchenette, new bathrooms, and refurbished laundry room. We are excited to work with Foundation Housing on another affordable housing project which, when complete will provide an upgraded and enhanced living community for seniors in Cape Charles.
