Pherm Brewing Company

Henry Jager and Billy Abbot of Pherm Brewing Company opened the doors to their 6,000sf brewery- which includes a 2,900sf tasting room and a 1,950sf brewing production area- in the winter of 2020. Initially open solely for take-out sales due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they’ve since fully opened the taproom as well as their outdoor “Shakedown Street Beer Garden” to endearing beer lovers alike. The tasting room features high ceilings with large skylights- along with the windows surrounding the room, these provide ample natural light to the space. In the tasting room there are tv displays and a large projection screen which is great for watching sports and for many of the events they host such as trivia night. The stage provides a place for all types of local musicians to perform, and the custom concrete bar-tops are inlayed with their company logo as well as the logos of two of the important bands from the jam-band music scene- The Grateful Dead and Phish- whose influence is evident throughout the space. The glass behind the bar provides direct sightlines into the brewhouse, allowing customers to see exactly where their beer is made. The team at Studio 343 is currently working with Henry and Billy on plans to expand their warehouse and production into the adjacent tenant space, increasing their total footprint by 50%. This next phase is expected to be complete by the end of 2021.
