Progress at Admiral’s Landing

Admiral’s Landing, located in St. Mary’s County, has seen many changes to the property since we last shared an update. This 134-unit community is comprised of 9 residential buildings and a Community Building. This project was a twin finance deal with the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. The 4% portion of the site has completed construction and the 9% is well on its way with 2 out of 5 buildings through the construction process. Select buildings have received additions for the accommodation of 3-bedroom units within the community.

Renovation to the Community Building and site is ongoing. The Community Building has completed shell construction and finishes are soon to come. The Community Building renovation includes the installation of solar panels which will serve the day-to-day functions of the building. In addition to the solar panels, exterior modifications to the building include new siding, signage, and a pavilion for resident gatherings. A meandering path has been added that will connect the Community Building to the entrance of the site so residents can access the community at large. Along the path, a new bio-swale will be added to mitigate water as well as add new landscape features to the site.

We look forward to the completion of Admirals Landing later this spring and to another successful housing community renovation with Osprey Property Company and Harkins Builders.
