Indian Creek Apartments

The renovation of 20 affordable housing units in Virginia’s “Northern Neck” created energy efficient apartments in a campus-like setting. The existing buildings were appropriately simple, massed structures, but required upgrades to meet EarthCraft certification, federal accessibility standards and improved quality of life. Buildings received new exterior cladding, roofs, windows and doors, as well as new covered entryway “porches” to create community space. Interior upgrades included new kitchens, lighting, finishes and energy efficient water heating. Studio 343’s expertise in affordable housing allowed us to address the client’s needs effectively and without compromise.
