Ryan Village Apartments

The Ryan Village Apartments, located in Princeton West Virginia, was our ninth affordable housing project funded through the West Virginia Housing Development Fund. Situated on rolling terrain, the renovations to this project presented design challenges for RPH Architecture.  With careful coordination with the Civil Engineer and contractor we were able to navigate the steep slopes and hills on the landscape and design a site that was fully accessible for all residents.  New site amenities included in the renovations were a playground and office.  The renovations also included high efficiency water heaters and split systems as well as refinishing the spacious kitchens and living spaces.  Additionally, three of the units were made fully accessible for use by tenants with disabilities.
