Samuel Chase Apartments

RPH Architecture is proud to announce our first project with Green Street Housing, the Samuel Chase Apartments, is under construction. The project was awarded funding last year through the Maryland’s Department of Housing & Community Development’s Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program.  Green Street Housing and RPH agree that green is not just “going green”, but a philosophy of sustainability that can improve quality of life and help save our vital resources.

Samuel Chase Apartments will earn EarthCraft certification upon completion.  This ensures that when completed the project will provide healthy, comfortable homes that reduce utility bills and protect the environment.

Project construction on the 60 unit renovation provides residents with new interior finishes, an improved exterior image, and a facade renovation.  Included in the seven month construction schedule is a new community building providing updated laundry facilities and a common space for gathering which, as you can see, is well under way.
