Sunshine Village In Progress

The renovation of Sunshine Village is nearing completion.  The interior and exterior renovations will improve the quality of life for many low income families in this rural community located in Pocomoke, Maryland.  The community will be EarthCraft certified, providing residents with homes that are healthier, energy efficient and ultimately more affordable.  Accessibility has been provided in a number of the units throughout the site as well as enhanced amenities for those with disabilities.  The new community building is now complete and open to residents, providing much needed space for assembly, fitness, internet and computer access as well a laundry facility. In addition to the many new features and upgrades that this community has undergone, it will also take on a new name, Pocomoke Landing.
